I will be taking notes on my MacBook Pro. You may also book me as your officiant and reserve your date on my calendar by submitting a deposit. I will then send you an electronic booking contract. It will itemize every service you desire.
If everything looks good, then you’ll email the contract back to me. I’ll then write a draft and have you review it. Since I consider you a partner in my writing, you may rest assured that every detail of your love story will be correct. I’ll continue to make changes until you are satisfied with the draft.
All paperwork, including the final draft and payment of the balance, will be due 10 days before your wedding date. On your special day, I will arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony and stay until I have secured signatures from your witnesses.
Many couples have chosen me to officiate their wedding. Some make the decision after reviewing my website; others after reading my reviews; others after a phone conversation; and, still others, after a personal consultation. I make myself available at any level you need to make this important decision.
You need to get a sense of who I am to discover if there is that intangible something that lets you know if you should proceed and I am comfortable with that. I do many weddings for couples located out of my immediate area and for each of them that intangible something appears after only reading my website or reviews or a phone call. No matter how it comes, it is important for you to feel that high level of comfort.
Come prepared to share your story with me. Think about any special additions you may want. I’d like to come away from our time together with the feeling that you have painted me a picture of your ideal ceremony. Then, I can craft a perfect ceremony for you!
I officiate two general types of ceremonies. For those who want a traditional ritual, I can help you plan a reliable and powerful wedding ceremony. On the other hand, I can also serve as an officiant for a more intimate and personalized ceremony.
A Classic Ceremony has a long, esteemed history and is familiar to generations. It remains essentially unchanged throughout the ages and has proven through the decades to be reliable, effective, and powerful. A primary point to keep in mind as you ponder which you desire is that a Classic Ceremony is generally unmodified to fit the individuality of the couple.
Note: The Classic Ceremony is required if you choose the Same Day or Spontaneous packages. It is also available for the Personal and Premier packages.
A Personal Ceremony differs from a Classic Ceremony, in that there are modifications to fit the individuality of the couple. In addition to some classic elements being omitted, there would be a personal feel to the ceremony. This might be due to the narration of your love story, the addition of the bride and groom speaking from their heart to each other or the inclusion of a special addition to the personalized ceremony.
Note: A Personal Ceremony is only available with the Personal and Premier packages.
Fill out the wedding form. Upon its completion, contact me for a consultation and indicate three dates and times that work for the both of you. I will choose one that works best for me.
The best way to contact me would be through the Contact Us form. Alternatively, you can also feel free to email or call me.
Whether you want a classic or personalized ceremony, I can be of help. Pick one of my packages so you can get started planning all the details that will be present at your wedding. I am ecstatic to officiate a memorable, magical wedding of two loving souls.
